How to stop e-mails from Intergage directly entering your spam or junk e-mail folder

To protect users from harmful viruses or unwanted e-mails, many Internet Service Providers (ISPs) automatically direct e-mails from unrecognised or suspicious addresses into a junk e-mail or spam folder.

We would hope that your ISP wouldn’t see an Intergage address as unrecognised or suspicious, but if it does, please add us to your safe-list or address book as a contact.

Please find below instructions on how to do this for some of the most commonly used ISPs.

AOL 9.0

1. Sign in and click on ‘Spam Controls’ in the bottom right hand corner of the page.
2. Within the ‘Mail & Spam Controls’ box, click on ‘Custom sender list’.
3. Choose the ‘allow e-mail from’ option.
4. Click to add the domain ‘intergage.co.uk’.
5. Click on ‘Add’, then click on ‘Save’.

AOL 7 & 8

1. Click on ‘Keyword Mail Controls’.
2. Select the screen name you are using to receive email.
3. Click on ‘Customize Mail Controls For This Screen Name’.
4a. For AOL version 7.0: In the section for ‘exclusion and inclusion parameters’, enter the following domain: ‘* @intergage.co.uk’.
4b. For AOL version 8.0: Select ‘Allow email from all AOL members, email addresses and domains’.
5. Click on ‘Next’ until the ‘Save’ button appears.
6. Click on ‘Save’.

GMail

1. Sign in and open the e-mail that you wish to add to your safe list.
2. Click on the arrow next to the reply button in the top right hand corner of the e-mail.
3. From the drop-down menu that appears, click on ‘Add sender to contacts’.

Hotmail / MSN mail

1. Sign in and click ‘Options’ in the top right of your screen.
2. On the left side of the page, click 'Safe and blocked senders' which is under the 'Junk e-mail' section.
3. Click on 'Safe senders'.
4. Add the address or domain name, and click ‘Add to list'.

Or alternatively

• Find the e-mail you wish to add to your safe list within your junk e-mail or spam folder
• Open it within your junk e-mail or spam folder
• At the top of the e-mail click ‘Add to safe list’ or ‘Not junk’.

Microsoft Outlook 2003/2007

1. Within your inbox, right click on the e-mail subject line.
2. Click on ‘Add Sender To Address Book’.

Or alternatively, if you’ve e-mailed us before

• Click on ‘Junk E-mail’
• Click on ‘Junk E-mail Options’
• Click on the ‘Safe Senders’ tab
• Ensure that ‘Automatically add people I e-mail to the Safe Senders List’ is checked.
• Click on ‘OK’.

Yahoo Mail

1. Sign in and click on 'Contacts' on the left hand side of the page.
2. Click on 'Add contacts'.
3. Enter the name and e-mail address of the contact that you wish to add to your safe list.
4. Click on ‘Save contact details’.
