Black hat Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is the practice of optimising a website to achieve strong rankings in Google search results using unethical methods.
Google ranks website content on validity, usefulness and relevance and so websites using unethical or misleading optimisation techniques are often successful in the short-term, but blacklisted by Google in the longer-term.
Common black hat SEO techniques include keyword stuffing, invisible text, doorway pages, cloaking, link farming and more.
The opposite of black hat SEO is the extremely ethical white hat SEO.
All of Intergage Search Engine Optimisation services are strictly white hat. We wouldn’t have it any other way!
