Local businesses link-up at LinkedIn seminar

IT services provider Taylor Made Computer Solutions and digital agency Intergage have recently hosted a joint seminar designed to introduce local business people to the advantages of online networking tool LinkedIn. The seminar, held at Taylor Made’s head office in Fareham, saw 35 local businesses gather to find out exactly how they should be making the most of this new marketing tool. Hosted by Intergage Managing Director, Paul Tansey, it covered 14 simple steps to getting the most from LinkedIn. Paul also explained the ways in which cost effective online tools such as LinkedIn are set to replace more expensive traditional forms of marketing such as advertising, cold calling, PR and word of mouth.

For me the power of LinkedIn has already been demonstrated by the fact that several attendees today learnt about the seminar through LinkedIn and several others had already connected with my profile within minutes of the seminar concluding!” commented Paul Tansey.
