Site statistics

The Site Statistics package provides an Intergage Web site Administrator with the ability to monitor and report on the Web site usage.

The package monitors actual page impressions delivered on request to a visiting browser or search engine. It does not mislead you by providing 'page hits' based on delivery of individual files, such as an image file, only the page as a whole.

Statistics are collected individually by month and by day. The level of detail may be configured such that for a busy site, the amount of data used is closely controlled. The daily detail level can be modified to suit your needs so that you get what you need without being swamped with useless statistics.

A reporting function gives a breakdown of site usage over a selected period, allowing you to see which are the most popular pages and the most popular browsers visiting your site. This means that you can find out which pages are being visited and which are not so that you can take the appropriate action to continually improve the effectiveness of your website.
