In late 2006 I took over the role of Managing Director of Intergage. I previously held the role of Sales Director and have very much enjoyed heading up a team that has built up a client base of over 300 in just over three years.
My mission is to ensure that our customers know that they have made sound commercial decisions to work with Intergage in the development of their Web presence and Web marketing. I have also to ensure that our business is growing, remains profitable, competitive and provides all our stakeholders with optimum returns that they deserve.
I have worked in other business-to-business companies providing essential software solutions for Customer Relationship Management and Accounting. I was one half of a management team that built a top 5 UK Sage reseller business and one of the top Pegasus and Goldmine resellers in the UK. In February 2003 I was delighted to join a business established by my brother, Gareth Tansey. He had shrewdly anticipated the wave of CMS (content management systems) for Web site development and management and had developed the Intergage CMS toolset from scratch.
I know I have an excellent team on which to build the business going forward. I know I have some hard work to do in keeping everyone happy all of the time; my challenge is to achieve that harmony!
Anyone who knows me well knows I am a bookworm. I am passionate about my family, my friends and my colleagues. I love football, sea fishing, motorcycles (particularly my Honda Hornet!) and rock music. |
