Enhanced Case Study

Overview

Award-winning Enhanced is a provider of IT solutions incorporating all of key business areas and processes. Since working with Intergage on its Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising, Enhanced has increased the number of conversions from its website per month from two to 24 and reduced its cost per conversion to less than 25% of its previous figure.

The problem

Although the current Enhanced website provides all of the information that a visitor may require, the company Directors were finding that it wasn’t acting as a cost-effective marketing tool. Ultimately it was decided that the management team would like to see greater returns from online marketing which it believed could generate large value orders at a fraction of the cost of its traditional offline marketing activities.

The Intergage solution

After an initial meeting with the team at Enhanced, Intergage recommended that it looked after the business’s SEO and PPC advertising on an ongoing basis.

During the first six months of this contract the Intergage Search Engine Marketing team has rebuilt and refined the existing Enhanced PPC campaign, lowering its cost per conversion from £60 to £11.99.

The Intergage team has also increased the Enhanced website conversion rate, from a previous figure of 2 leads to an impressive 24 leads for the sales team to follow up each month. Managing the account on a day-to-day basis has allowed Intergage to refine it perfectly, gaining maximum returns at the lowest possible cost per click.

It isn’t just paid search that the Intergage team used to help to increase website traffic levels, they also spent a large proportion of time focusing on the SEO of the Enhanced website.

As a result, www.enhanced.co.uk now ranks as No.1 for the term ‘access dimensions’  (21/10/2009) on Google. This term was identified early as the most important keyword that Enhanced wanted to be found under online.

Using a combination of concentrated SEO management and Digital PR which provided high quality links to the relevant pages on the Enhanced website, the Intergage team helped to take www.enhanced.co.uk from outside of the top 100 results for these terms to number one within six months. The result is that the Enhanced website now acts as a revenue-generating tool rather than a static and costly presence.
