I work as part of the Web design team here at Intergage. It is my job to create the designs and project manage and implement our clients' Web sites. I work as part of a team and with all departments in the company as well as liaising directly with clients. I would like to say that my mission is to create dynamic and well designed Web sites that make browsing easier and more effective, even fun!
After school I decided to use my excellent doodling skills and do a BTEC in Industrial design at the Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design. After this I completed a BA Hons in Integrated 3D Design at the Arts Institute Bournemouth. After my course I worked as the store manager for a small men's clothing company, where I worked part-time during my degree. I then moved into the IT industry working in a small software development company called Intabase Solutions. Here I did pretty much everything from administration and Web design to running an online health and beauty website.
I then decided I wanted to pursue a career in the Web, and got a job working for a small Web design company called The Website Superstore, here I worked as a Project Manager. I wanted to use my design skills a bit more and utilise my knowledge of the web industry, so here I am at Intergage.
On a more personal note I have a passion for music and am a vinyl junkie and love nothing better than getting my fingers dusty diggin' for records to find that obscure sample. I deejay at local venues and am just starting to make my own beats.
I'm a secret sneaker addict and have a nice collection of early 90's Nike's. |
