Adding pictures and text

Probably the most used feature of Intergage is its Rich Text Editor. This easy-to-use tool allows you to add content to any page and any section of your Web site quickly and easily.

Using a familiar "Word processor" style of interface, you can type or paste text into the workspace. Using the familiar tools of the tool bar, you can format your text making it bold, italic or underlined. You can add colour, bullets and numbering, align your text or even insert and manage tables - cutting and pasting directly from Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel if required.

Adding Pictures and Text

Using the link icon you can select any part of the text or an image and apply a link, either to another page of the site or externally to another web site.

Adding images is simple, allowing you to browse your local hard drive for images and upload them without the need for FTP (File Transfer Protocol) software. If you wish, you can even show an image that is displayed on another site by defining that URL.

Using the image editing icon, you can align the image with the text, resize and set the Alt Tag (the pale yellow description that appears when you mouse over an image) or set a border or padding around an image.

It has a convenient undo and redo feature so you can undo any errors quickly and easily and advanced users may like to toggle between the standard "User" mode and the more advanced "HTML" mode for advanced, fine control.

The editor has features for adding tables and even copying tables created in Microsoft Word or Excel.

The tables feature is particularly powerful and provides a degree of fine control over layout not previously available to those without advanced HTML skills. Tables are ideal for laying out technical information involving both text and pictures and for aligning text and pictures on the page neatly together. By turning off the borders, tables can be used for creating image galleries or formatting whole pages or sections at a time.
