Groups are a popular asset within LinkedIn, when utilised and explored fully. With over 1.2 million Groups currently in operation, subject matter, content and topics are very broad and wide ranging.
LinkedIn defines and describes Groups as follows:
A new enhanced feature from LinkedIn is the ability to search, by a keyword or phrase, within Groups. This improved search function doesn’t just look at title and description of the Group, but now searches the‘conversations’ within Groups.
The search results are then shown by a number of criteria and filters. From network connections (1st degree, 2nd degree or 3rd degree connections) to filter by language and category Group type (Your Groups, Groups You May Like, Open Groups or Members Only Groups).
Why not try this simple, yet effective feature and see what conversations across LinkedIn you could join, listen to or participate in. Just enter a keyword or phrase in the search box at the top right of your LinkedIn home page and select Groups from the drop down arrow. It is that simple!
